In honor of Father’s Day and Sol Guy’s documentary The Death Of My Two Fathers, Quiet will host a special screening event leading up to Father’s Day on Thursday (June 16, 2022) at the California African American Museum (CAAM) in LA. An evening centering fatherhood, grief, love and healing through creative practice, the evening will include a reception, screening, roundtable discussion and more.

The event will kick off with an outdoor Celebratory Sunset Reception where attendees will enjoy fresh tacos, drinks and music from 6:30 PM - 7:45 PM. Guests will begin to take their seats in CAAM’s Grand Lobby Atrium at 7:45 PM for the featured program. At 8 PM, the screening will begin. Directly following the screening, there will be a Roundtable Discussion and Q&A featuring Director Sol Guy and special guests.
